Sarah Palin's Ongoing Wolf Slaughter

Governor Sarah Palin continues to push extreme methods to kill wolves and bears, seeking to eliminate hundreds of wolves this season through Alaska's aerial wolf killing program. Her state's Board of Game has even approved the killing of young wolf pups in or near their dens, a controversial practice that was illegal until 2008.

Call Sarah Palin

When Sarah Palin came on the national scene last summer, few knew that she promoted the brutal aerial killing of wolves. Now back in Alaska, Palin is again casting aside science and promoting the slaughter of wildlife.

The Wolf Slaughter Photos Alaska Doesn't Want You to See

WARNING: These GRAPHIC PHOTOS show dead wolves -- the raw, horrible aftermath of Alaska's out-of-control aerial wolf-killing program.

On March 14, 2009 Alaska wildlife officials used helicopters and spotter planes to carry out Governor Sarah Palin's escalating wolf-killing program. The operation claimed the lives of 84 wolves -- and the killing only stopped when officials couldn't find any more wolves in the area.

Although Alaska officials have claimed copyright to these photos, they were obtained through a public records request. Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund believes the public has a right to know the truth about Alaska's brutal aerial wolf-killing program.

Defenders Action Fund's campaign to expose Gov. Palin's anti-wildlife agenda has attracted the support of actress and activist, Ashley Judd.

"I am outraged by Sarah Palin's promotion of this cruel, unscientific and senseless practice which has no place in modern America," commented Ms. Judd. "Because she is apparently determined to continue and expand this horrific program, I am grateful that Defenders will aggressively fight to stop her. I am proud to be a part of that effort."
